We are looking for self-motivated people to assist with Database creation - measuring food and other materials, using optical devices and chemical methods. The measuring includes sample preparation, sample measuring and adding data to a central database. The position requires excellent technical and learning skills, and an opportunity to expand the knowledge in multiple fields.

Consumer Physics is building the first consumer grade spectrometer - a sensor which can fit in the palm of your hand (and hopefully soon be part of your smartphone) and provides information about the chemical makeup of materials around you.

To build this product we've put together an exceptional team covering diverse disciplines including optics, physics, chemistry, machine learning, manufacturing and software. At this time we're looking for an exceptional software team leader to take over the leadership of our back-end team, which is in charge of our cloud service, and help us grow this service by a factor of x100 in the next year.

Required skills and traits:

  • Someone who's passionate about their work and fun to work with.
  • Substantial experience building and managing world class teams that build complex software systems (minimum 3 years as team leader).
  • Substantial experience with Python (or a similar language).
  • Smart and Get Things Done.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment.
  • Ability to learn new fields, tackle new problems and come up with creative and cost effective solutions.
  • Experience with scikit-learn, big data and/or machine learning is an advantage.

Many more applications are being developed by our developer community worldwide. The customer support member provides support for our existing and potential clients (B2B and B2C). This position has frequent email interaction with our clients around the globe and requires the development of in-depth product knowledge as well as the highest level of customer service skills. The job includes handling customers’ inquiries via emails, creating and resolving tickets, working with other teams and groups to address clients’ needs.

Consumer Physics is looking for an exceptional QA Team Leader & Automation Engineer to manage the Software QA team, Develop our UI Automation Infrastructure (Web + Android + iOS), and play a key role in improving our product's quality.

We are looking for a system engineer with a strong background in electronics (analog and digital) to join our System team. A system engineer in Consumer Physics is responsible for the design and execution of all HW aspects of the company products including gathering requirements from internal and external customers, defining mechanical and electrical requirements and FW/SW interfaces, hands on execution and performance evaluation and operating sub-contractors and peers.

Required skills and traits:

  • Self-motivated, fast learner with a "can do" attitude.
  • A team player with an ability to lead peers without formal authority.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong electrical engineering background in analog and mixed-signal board design at least 3 years of experience.

We are looking for an exceptional algorithms developer to join our signal processing team, developing the core algorithms that enable the next generation of material sensing technology - SCiO. This role requires understanding our overall system, including, physical phenomena, hardware and software and then develop and employ algorithms to extract signals generated by different sensors in noisy environments.

Required skills and traits:

  • B.Sc. (M.Sc. preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent
  • Excellent understanding of estimation theory and related algorithms
  • At least 3 years of experience in algorithms development
  • A team player with a passion for solving problems in different fields
  • Ability to work in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment
  • Experience with image processing algorithms is an advantage
