Consumer Physics is building the first consumer grade spectrometry based system- a sensor which can fit in the palm of your hand connected to a cloud based chemometric platform. The system provides information about the chemical makeup of materials around you.

To build this product we've put together an exceptional team covering diverse disciplines including: Back-end, front-end, hardware, physics, chemistry and machine learning.
We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer that will be a significant team player in developing our cloud borne (GCP) complex software system using top notch technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and improve our cloud infrastructure to enable high scale production activity
  • Maintain the availability and performance of the production system
  • Improve our CI/CD process using the latest tools and technologies
  • Investigate and resolve cloud technical issues
  • Design and Develop backup and recovery procedures.

Requirements:

  • 2 years in a similar position in a large scale cloud company
  • Deep knowledge of cloud architecture (GCP preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes
  • Deep knowledge of Linux and scripting
  • Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
  • Experience with MongoDB – an advantage
  • A self driven fast and independent learner
  • A team player with great interpersonal skills and a positive attitude

We are looking for a talented Software Testing Engineer for defining and executing manual tests for our Mobile, Web and Cloud System.

Required skills and traits:

  • 1 year of software testing experience
  • B.A. in Computer Science or similar - an advantage.
  • A methodological approach to test planning.

  • Good at multi-tasking and good time-management skills.

We are looking for a talented and experienced software engineer to lead our back-end team, which is in charge of our cloud services development.

Job Responsibilities

  • Take the technologies, tools and practices used within the team to the next level
  • Guide and empower a talented and skillful team
  • Lead the design, estimation and implementation of new features
  • Hands-on development of new cloud capabilities
  • Maintain the availability and performance of the production system

Required skills and traits

  • Experience leading a SW team - at least 1 year
  • A First degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Experience working on large, complex software systems  - at least 5 years
  • Experience with Python - at least 2 years including: numpy, scipy, pandas, scikit-learn
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Ability to work in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment
  • Ability to learn new fields independently, tackle new problems and come up with creative and cost effective solutions
  • Experience working on a production system borne in one of the major cloud services
  • Experience with big data and/or machine learning is an advantage
  • Experience with SQL Databases and/or document-oriented databases an advantage

We are looking for a hands on front end software team leader with a can-do attitude to lead our Web & Mobile development.

The main responsibilities in this role are:

  • Manage the day to day tasks of the software developers in the team
  • Oversee the technologies, tools and practices used within the tea
  • Take part in the mobile SW development (Android or iOS).
  • Participate in the design and estimation of new features
  • Manage the day to day tasks of our manual software tester

Required skills and traits:

  • 4 years of Software Development experience
  • A first degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Excellent development skills in iOS or Android
  • Proven ability of tackling challenging projects
  • Familiarity in Web development is an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to motivate team members
